With her last international show double Team World Champion Karin Rehbein will say good-bye as international competitor.

The 20th Manfred Swarovski Memorial Show taking place on the Schindlhof of the Haim-Swarovski family at Fritzens (Tyrol/Austria) July 4 – 6, 2014, will become with seventy participants from 16 countries again one of the outstanding sport events in Tyrol and an highlight in the international dressage calendar: With Australia, France, the United States and Austria four nations will hold a WEG Selection Trial there. For the US team it will be decided at the Schindlhof, who will join the US Nations Cup squad for CHIO Aachen. Most prominent US riders are Double 2010 WEG bronze medalist and 2009 World Cup Champion Steffen Peters with the 12 year old Westphalian Legolas, who have just won their third consecutive national Grand Prix Champion title mid-June, 2004 Athens Olympics team bronze medalist Lisa Wilcox with Denzello, the shooting-star of the 2014 US Championship and silver medalist Laura Graves with Verdades and the US Championship third Jan Ebeling with Rafalca. Just nominated with Bella Rose for he German CHIO squad five times Olympic gold medalist Isabell Werth is expected at CDI4* Fritzens with her newest Grand Prix top ride Harmonie, with whom she had been runner-up in the Grand Prix and the Freestyle at CDI4* Wiesbaden (Germany) beginning of June. Germany’s 2012 Olympic team silver medalist Dorothee Schneider of Germany plans to compete the star among the Grand Prix prospects in Germany, the nine year old black gelding UllrichEquine’s Emilion, a winner in series of the Grand Prix test for young horses, in his first regular international Grand Prix test. Further medal winners of World Championships and Olympic Games among the participants are Christoph Koschel of Germany and Anne van Olst of Denmark.

Especially happy are the hosts Evelyn Haim-Swarovski and Klaus Haim that the German dressage legend and long time friend of the family Karin Rehbein, together with the unforgettable Oldenburg breeding stallion Donnerhall the 1994 and 1998 Team World Champion and 1994 third of the Freestyle World Championship, will compete in her last international class aboard World Idol at the Schindlhof.

Austria’s dressage queen Victoria Max-Theurer, eleven times national Austrian Seniors Champion and individual 13th in the 2012 Olympics, can already be certain about her WEG ticket, but for her the question is still, with which horse she will lead the Austrian squad. To figure it out, she will bring her top horses Augustin OLD and Blind Date to Fritzens. A good chance to make it for the Austrian WEG squad has also host Evelyn Haim-Swarovski with the 2012 Olympic veteran Dorina, with whom she achieved the second best Austrian results in CDI Munich and CDI Achleiten respectively this May.

As in each year also the anniversary show offers besides an attractive field of participants and exciting competitions also a varied entertaining program. On Saturday and Sunday at lunch-time the group ‚Criollos de Oro’ will demonstrate the rideability, dynamism and versatility of the South-American working horse breed ‚Criollos’, who have been the inspiration for the SCS Annual Edition 2014 Horse Esperanza of the D. Swarovski Company. The traditional hat contest takes place on Sunday at 1 pm.

The dressage competitions of the international Small Tour, for which Steffen Peters will bring his seven year old Intermediaire I US Champion Rosamunde, begins on Friday, July 4, and Saturday, July 5, at 8 am, the Grand Prix of the Special Tour at 1.30 pm on Friday, the Grand Prix of the Freestyle Tour on Saturday at 1.30 pm. The decisions in both tours will be taken on Sunday, July 6, in the Grand Prix Special from 10 am and in the Grand Prix Freestyle from 2 pm on (all times are subject to changes).

The entry fees vary from 5 Euro on Friday to 10 Euro on Sunday. The Three Day ticket costs 15 Euro, the Three Day ticket with a reserved seat 50 Euro. All entry fees go as well as all donations to a club for therapeutic riding.
