With the end of the FEI competition year approaching on 30 September 2014 breeders all over the world focus their attention to the FEI/WBFSH rankings for horses and studbooks. After the 2014 World Equestrian Games, the KWPN Society is firmly in the lead.
Although studbooks seem very established in the rankings, one horse can still make a difference: the wonderful dressage mare Bella Rose has taken the Westfalian studbook into Top Three joining the KWPN and Hanoverian studbooks for the dressage ranking.
After the 2014 World Equestrian Games, the KWPN society has taken a firm lead on the WBFSH Ranking with 15,365 points as World Champion Valegro (by Negro x Gerschwin) is the anchor for KWPN with 3175 points.
The Hanoverian society is in second place with 12,913 points with Kristina Sprehe's stallion Desperados (by De Niro x Wolkenstein II) spearheading the Hanoverian campaign with 2477 points.
Damon Hill (by Donnerhall x Rubinstein) and Bella Rose (by Belissimo M x Cacir AA) have brought the Westfalian verband into third place with 12,598 points. The WEG silver medal winning Damon Hill is the second highest placed horse on the WBFSH ranking with 2937 points.
