2015 Horsefood Dressage Talent Competition

The 4-year old Brigitte Bardot and the 5-year old Fabregaz won the 2015 Horsefood Dressage Talent Competition held for the 10th time in Berkel-Enschot on 4 April 2015. The Horsefood Talent Competition is a regional talent scouting competition with three qualifier across the The Netherlands and a Finals at Stable De Kraan, which took place on 4 April 2015.

The Finals consist of a first round, which is judged by Hans Peter Minderhoud, Edward Gal and Jan Wolfs and the qualified horses are presented under saddle by their rider. The three highest scoring horses are test ridden by a guest judge rider, who was Kirsten Brouwer this year.

In the 4-year old division Robin van Lierop won the class with Brigitte Bardot (by Belissimo M x Sandro Hit). The pair scored 84 points in round 1 and earned a 90 in the guest judge finals to total 174 points. Maria Brouwer and Gamble H (by Furstenball x Balzflug) were the runners up with 82 points in the first round and 85 points in the finals. Roos van Schaik and the chestnut Genua TV (by Charmeur x Jazz) completed the top three with 82 points and 80 points.

Maria Brouwer on Fabregaz In the 5-year old division Maria Brouwer aced the class with the Dutch bred Fabregaz (by Bordeaux x Democraat). The duo scored a winning 83.5 points and got 95 points in the guest judge finals. With a total of 178.5 points, they stayed far ahead of the runners-up: Lisanne der Nederlanden on Farzana (by Ampere x Florencio). This duo earned 81.5 points and an 80 in the final round. Grand Prix rider Katja Gevers and Fleetwood Max (by Don Romantic x Krack C) were third with 81 and 75 points.
