Would you like to participate in one of the most extravagant shows in the month of June? Then don't hesitate! And don't miss the next competition in Mallorca. The beautiful stud farm Es Fangar is preparing the launch of a CDI 4* from 11 - 15 June 2015. Riders are invited to join the competition, which promises to be another fun show, for the first time ever on the Mediterranean Balearic Island.
We are speaking about a special invitation this time. The generous launch-package for the international competition includes a free round trip for horses (transportation on the ferry from BCN to Mallorca), as well as 4 nights in a 5* hotel for riders...and for horses, inscriptions and bedding are free. Riders are treated to breakfast and lunches. And of course the invitation includes a Gala dinner on the house. The generous host will throw the party.
There is no doubt that Es Fangar is a 5* location for riders as well as for horses.
Es Fangar is equal to a beautiful and ancient property in the south east of the island. Nature is respected in the most original and respectful way, but still meeting the expectations of top professionalism that considers each and every detail of importance in the life of a competition rider and his horses.
The Dammann footing guarantees top care for the equine athletes, not only on the 2-kilometre canter track, but also in all of the 4 warm up and competition arenas, a covered arena included. Showers, paddocks, paths in the shade and perfect stalling conditions are another must at this location. The stakes are high and the organizing committee does know that dates and location do have wonderful advantages but also their contraries. High season in northern Europe keeps many riders busy in their countries.
Indeed these dates are nevertheless also an advantage as the CDI4* in Mallorca is the last chance to qualify for the Europeans in Aachen and of course for the World Young Horse Championships in Verden as well.
The host is definitely concerned about the expenses of the riders, not only supporting part of their competition costs, but also putting out exceptional prize money with 56,000 euro (only in the CDI) cars, 20 scooters and valuable art as well as jewellery, besides much more, are in the game to be won.
Event director Federico Padron, together with Es Fangar Stud Manager Patrick Kofler and the amazing back up of the Swiss host family in Es Fangar consider this CDI4* could be really interesting for the promotion of the dressage in the south of Europe! The Helvetian – Spanish connection aims to show the Sports World how Dressage can shine at its utmost. Doppio TV Germany will be on the spot and the whole event will be live streamed by Topiberian.
This all sounds like a fairy-tale and one could think it might not have the required consistency, but not at all, consistency is what characterizes this OC. The family wishes to place a long-term goal. “We do know that this year is the launch of a “door opener” with the first CDI4* ever held on Mallorca. But it will be for sure the inauguration of a competition that aims to be within the “must go dates” in the calendar of many international riders. One of the most interesting shows, not only for riders but also for the most important and sustainable brands in the world. This is the new way to seduce with dressage,” says Federico Padron from Topiberian.
Breeding is a very serious passion at Es Fangar, this year Nürnberger Burgpokal winner, Es Fangar's Samba King (by Sandro King out of Prisca, by Lancet) presented by Matthias Rath, might sound familiar to many of the dressage fans. Franziska and her husband Matthias are daughter and son-in-law, respectively of the host family, and although TOTILAS won't be on the spot this year, they are part of this amazing competition dream!
Surrounded by the Mediterranean the event promises to unify sport at its best with excellency in every aspect, from vacations, leisure and tourism to professional exchange in between international top riders and trainers. Colloquiums will not miss in this exquisite ambience, outstanding personalities will participate and give their input on horses and equestrian sport. The respectful, sustainable co-existence with nature will be in the focus at this venue.
And in an open-minded way Es Fangar shows a big heart for horses and riders no matter if we are talking about elite riders or if it comes to the beginner. This first CDI4* is a novelty in many senses, it will be mainly free of costs for the international riders. The island of Mallorca will benefit and this is one of the host’s most important goals: to spread knowledge and benchmark with good example. To open their facilities to the local and national riders, so they could learn, enjoy, participate and live up to the experience of absolute riding excellency.
