The 5-year old Kiefferhof's Imperius and the 5-year old won the Bundeschampionate qualification classes at the regional show in Kurtscheid, Germany, on 16 - 17 May 2015. Although the competition in Kurtscheid featured a vast programme of dressage classes, the L and M-level Bundeschampionate tests only had a small field of horses participating.
In the 5-year old division Miriam Becher rode the 5-year old Rhinelander stallion Kiefferhof's Imperius (by Imperio x Florestan) into the winner's circle with an 8.2 total score. Belgian Jerome Schneiders and the Westfalian gelding Don Desaggio (by Don Havidoff x Friedenstraum) slotted in second with 8.0.
In the 6-year old division Heiner Schirgen steered Christian Becks' Westfalian stallion Daley Thompsen (by Damon Hill) to victory with an 8.3 total. Two horses tied in second place with a 7.8 total: Peggy Flynn on the Hanoverian Charlize (by Carabas x De Niro) and Annika Bläumer on the Trakehner Kamani Hill (by Cadeau x Lehndorffs).
