Enrique Palacios and Lourdes Ariza's Danish warmblood NOH's Wizard made it a hattrick winning all three Mexican Pan Am selection trials. Palacios scored seventy percentage marks at the third and last qualifier held at the Campo Deportivo del Estado Mayor Presidencial in Mexico City on 23 - 24 May 2015.
The final trial was judged by Mariano Santos (ESP) and Janet Foy (YSA) and produced few surprises, although Edith Vega and her 15-year old Hanoverian French Affair (by Fabriano x Werther) did move up the rankings considerably and challenged the scores of the routiniers.
Palacios reigned surpreme as the sole rider able to produce two over seventy percentage scores. In the Prix St Georges he and Wizard (by White Talisman) got 72.039% and in the Intermediaire I they earned 71.711%.
Edith Vega was second in the Prix St Georges with 67.500% but dropped to fourth place in the Inter I with 67.895%
Mariana Quintana and Jose Luis Padilla were on each other's heels. Padilla and his 18-year old Donnersberg (by Don Primero x Cavalier) were third in the Prix St Georges with 67.303% and in the Intermediaire I with 68.289%. Quintana and the 13-year old Rhinelander Guapo (by Lanciano x De Niro) were fourth in the St. Georges (66.645%) and second in the Intermediaire I (69.539%).
