The Belgian and Dutch teams that will participate in the Nations Cup competition at the 2015 CDIO Rotterdam on 18 - 21 June 2015 have been announced. Donnerfee and Parzival will make a show come back there, Heijkoop's Siro is not yet ready to compete.
Making her debut on the Belgian senior Grand Prix riders team is 20-year old Jorinde Verwimp, who won kur bronze at the 2014 European Young Riders Championships and has made a very smooth transition to the senior elite divsion after competing in the Under 25 tour over the winter. Claudia Fassaert is returning to the ring with her Oldenburg mare Donnerfee (by De Niro) who has not been out since the 2014 World Equestrian Games due to a hoof injury.
For the Netherlands, Danielle Heijkoop was supposed to make her come back on Siro, but that has been delayed. The horse fractured its splint bone in March and though he's back in training, he's not yet fit enough for showing. Adelinde Cornelissen will be making her first outdoor show appearance of 2015 on the 18-year old Parzival (by Jazz x Ulft). The duo last competed at the CDI Mechelen in December 2014, where they placed second behind Heijkoop. Cornelissen will not be riding for Holland in the Nations' Cup but has entered her chestnut gelding in the 3* program.
