The KWPN gelding Undercover and the KWPN society are currently leading the 2015 WBFSH Dressage Horse and Studbook ranking upon the release of the new rankings, including scores up to 31 May 2015.
Every year in October the World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) publishes the official WBFSH/FEI rankings for both individual horses and for studbooks for the past FEI competition year.
The final rankings for the entire FEI competition year are published in October. The competition year covers 1 October 2014 - 30 September 2015.
The WBFSH rankings are based on the point-awarding system of the FEI rider rankings. FEI rider rankings are produced every month and are an ongoing ranking. The WBFSH/FEI horse rankings will only take into account the number of points gained by a horse during a time limit of one year, from 1 October until 30 September. This makes it possible to have a best horse every year.
The current leaders per 31 May are:
Undercover - 2674 points
KWPN gelding by Ferro and out of Mimosavrouwe by Donnerhall
Bred by Hendriksen-De Rijk, The Netherlands
The Dutch warmblood association KWPN is currently claiming first place in the dressage studbook ranking:
1. 13866 – Koninklijk Warmbloed Paardenstamboek Nederland (KWPN)
2. 12607 – Hannoveraner Verband e. V. (HANN)
3. 10389 – Dansk Varmblod (DWB)
