With only one day left before the kick-off of the 2015 CDI Fritzens in the Austrian Alps, the starting field of the international dressage competition at Klaus and Evelyn Haim-Swarovski's Schindlhof in Fritzens has probably never been this strong. Ten starters are among the top 100 of the current FEI World Ranking, 5 of them are among the top 20 respectively 2 are among the top 10.
The German team has already won a total of 63 medals at Olympics, World Equestrian Games, in the World Cup and at European and National Championships.
Isabell Werth, the most successful dressage rider in the world, currently #5 with Bella Rosa, and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (#8 with Unee B) are spearheading the starting list at Schindlhof. In addition to these two German dressage stars also their teammates Ulla Salzgeber (#13) and Dorothee Schneider (#34) will appear in the arena in Fritzens.
The two-time British Schindlhof overall winner Carl Hester (#10) and Austria’s Victoria Max-Theurer (#11), who was allowed to take the Manfred Swarovski Trophy home for good after her third overall victory last year, also rank among the top 20 riders who participate in Fritzens.
A total of 48 riders from 14 nations with 68 horses are registered. 11 Austrians face the international contenders. Six athletes from Tyrol
participate: hostess Evelyn Haim-Swarovski (#6 in the national ranking), Amanda Hartung (#8), Stefanie Palm (#12), Teresa Rochelt (#31), Pia Eisenbach (#36) and Franziska Gruber (#61).

trophy for good. Last year, Austria’s 12-time state champion Victoria
