The Swedish equestrian federation has announced the horses that will represent Sweden at the 2015 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany, on 5 - 9 August 2015. Several selection trials were held in Sweden this spring with the final observation trial at the 2015 CDIO Falsterbo last weekend.
Sweden is eligible to send eight horses in total to Verden, four per age division.
The Swedish horses going to Verden are:
5-year olds
- Van Vivaldi (KWPN, by Vivaldi x Olivi) - Rider: Caroline Darcourt
- Springbank VH (SWB, by Skovens Rafael x De Niro) - Rider: Jeanna Högberg
- Jinx Ek (SWB, by Johnson x Sandro Song) - Rider: Emelie Aldenfalk
- Zidney (SWB, by Zuidenwind x Laurentio) - Rider: Stefan Jansson
The 5-year old reserve horse is Rio da Carma (SWB, by Skovens Rafael x Jaguar), ridden by Maj Christine Ehnberg Fogelberg
6-year olds
- Revolution (SWB, by Skovens Rafael x Fürst Heinrich) - Rider: Anna Svanberg
- Sankt Erik II 1265 (SWB, by Johnson x Weltmeyer) - Rider: Caroline Darcourt
- Quarton (SWB, by Quarterback x Don Schufro) - Rider: Yvonne Österholm
- Missisippi (SWB, by Highcruiser x Maraton) - Rider: Anna Svanberg
The 6-year old reserve horse is Lady Day (SWB, by Damino SD x Biggles), ridden by Mads Hendeliowitz
