Two Bundeschampionate qualification classes took place in each other's vicinity East Germany in July with the first one being in Redefin on 9 - 10 July 2015, followed by a second one in Neustadt Dosse on 18 - 19 July 2015. Twelve horses contested the Bundeschampionate qualification classes in Redefin and sixteen participated in Neustadt/Dosse.
In Redefin Frederic Wandres led his own Oldenburg gelding Duvetico (by Detroit x Stedinger) to victory in the 5-year old division with an 8.2 score. The liver chestnut geldinggot 8 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 9 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Ronald Luders and Andreas Damm's German Sport Horse Quantaz (by Quaterback x Hohenstein) were the runners-up with 8.0. The bay stallion got 8.5 for trot, 7 for walk, 8 for canter, 8.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. In the 6-year old division Christian Flamm captured the trophy on Lothar Schulze's German Sport horse Schattentanzer (by Sam Amour x Rosario) with an 8.0 total. The dark bay gelding got 9 for trot, 8 for walk, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8.0 for general impression. Flamm also finished second on Britta Budeus-Wiegert's Oldenburg gelding Science Fiction (by San Amour x Donnerschwee). The pair scored 7.5 for walk and trot, 7 for canter and submission and 7.5 for general impression to total 7.30.
In Neustadt/Dosse, eleven 5-year olds and five 6-year olds contested the qualification classes. In the 5-year old division Sabine Ruben led the field on Gestut Sprehe's Hanoverian stallion Coal Diamond (by Christ x Don Schufro) with an 8.2 total. The dark bay stallion scored 9 for trot, 7 for walk, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Lena Waldmann and the Oldenburg gelding Francetti (by Furst Romancier x Caprimond) were second with 8.1. This bay gelding got 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 8 for canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression. In the 6-year old division Christian Flamm steered Britta Budeus-Wiegert's Oldenburg gelding Science Fiction (by San Amour x Donnerschwee) to victory with 8.4. The black gelding got 9 for trot and canter, 8 for walk, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Lena Waldmann and Silke Pelzer's Oldenburg mare Femmina Bella (by Furst Romancier x Rubinstein) slotted in second with 7.7. The mare got 8 for trot and canter, 7 for walk, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression.
