Kastello, Best Seller at 2015 KWPN Foal Auction in Maren-Kessel

The chestnut colt Kastello (by Chagall x Vivaldi) became the best selling foal at the 2015 KWPN Foal Auction held in Maren-Kessel, The Netherlands on 12 September 2015.

Kastello sold for 18,000 euro and was the price highlight.

The second most expensive foal was the colt King LE (by Ferguson x San Remo) which switched owners for 14,000 euro.

The most expensive jumper colt was Kornets Boy (by Cornet Obolensky) which achieved a knock down price of 12,000 euro.

Dutch junior rider Demy Kurstjens, who rides for Dutch horse dealer Nico Witte, acquired the colt Kupido (by Cupido x Hitchcock) for 5,000 euro.

The average price for a foal at the 2015 Maren-Kessel auction was 4,975 euro.
