Klacid of Cicero, Top Seller at 2015 Limburg KWPN Foal Auction

2015 KWPN Foal Auction

The jumper colt Klacid of Cicero became the top selling foal of the 2015 Limburg KWPN Foal Auction held at equestrian centre De Ijzeren Man in Weert, The Netherlands, on 23 September 2015.

Jumper foals sold the best at this auction with Klacid of Cicero achieving a knock down price of 38,000 euro. He sold to a Dutch client. 

Kiara (by Kannan x Heartbreaker) was the second most expenive foal and sold for 30,000 euro to Turkey.

The most expensive dressage foal was the Belgian bred Kyoto van de Nethe (by Furstenball x Weltmeyer). He sold to Dutch customers for 17,000 euro. The black filly Karma d'Or (by Lord Leatherdale x Negro) was knocked down for 13,000 euro. The black filly Kyra May (by Governor x Future)  sold for 11,000 euro.

Colt Kadanz Vika (by Dream Boy x Mendel) sold for 10,000 euro. The bay colt King of Dale (by Lord Leatherdale x Negro) switched owners for 9,000 euro and the paint colt Kastaar van 't Kattenbo (by Negro x Samber) sold for 8,500 euro.

The average price for a foal at this auction was approximately 8,400 euro with the average price for a dressage foal being 5,665 euro. The majority of dressage foals sold for less than 5,000 euro though.
