Beatriz Ferrer-Salat was presented with a special commemorative plaque at the 2015 CDI Madrid on Sunday 29 November 2015 in honour of her being the best performing Spanish dressage rider of 2015.
During the prize giving ceremony of the CDI Grand Prix kur to Music, Ferrer-Salatr received this special trophy in recognition of her achievements from the organizers of the Madrid Horse Week CSI/CDI competition.
Aboard her Westfalian gelding Delgado (by De Niro x Weltmeyer), Ferrer-Salat won Kur to Music bronze at the 2015 European Dressage Championships in Aachen, Germany, this summer. She also placed fourth with the team and won two back-to-back World Cup victories this indoor show season in Lyon and Stuttgart.
This is the second year that the organizers of the Madrid Horse Week honour Spain's best performing dressage rider of the year. In 2014 Morgan Barbançon Mestra was the recipient of the plaque after making it to the kur to music finals on Painted Black at the 2014 World Equestrian Games.
