The 4-year old Oldenburg bred Santos (by Sancisco x Levantos I x Pik Ramiro) became the top selling horse at the 2015 Winter Mixed Sales held in Vechta, Germany, on Sunday 6 December 2015.
Santos, who is bred by Martin Brüsehaber, achieved a knock down price of 71,000 euro and sold to Malaga, Spain.
The second most expensive horse in the collection was a show jumper: Quinta Stella (by Quintender x Curacoa). This horse sold for 65,000 euro to The Netherlands.
The liver chestnut Daydream (by Daddy Cool x Donnerhall) sold to German clients from Northrhine Westfalia for 45,000 euro. Swedish clients paid 38,000 euro for the dark bay gelding Diamontunus (by Diamont Hit x Santander), Germans got Rubignon (by Rubinero x Davignon) for 34,000 euro and Luxembourg customers acquired Bella Rose (by Benetton Dream x De Niro) for 30,500 euro.
Mexican jumper clients bought two horses: Clinder R (by Clinton x Landor) for 26,000 euro and Latoya (by Lordanos x Lansing) for 25,000 euro.
The average price for an Oldenburg sport horse at this auction was 22,578 euro.
