Blickfang HC, the 2015 Hanoverian young horse champion in the 4-year old division, has been sold to German Grand Prix rider Christina Boos.
The now 5-year old Hanoverian gelding is by Belissimo M out of Berle (by Brentano II x Partisan). The small but elegant and charming horse is bred by Theodor Linnenbäumer. The dam also produced Susanne Lebek's small tour horse Landiamo (by Londonderry).
Blickfang HC made his show debut under Anna Sophie Fiebelkorn, but in 2015 moved to Wibke Hartmann-Stommel's yard. Under Wible, the chestnut gelding won the Hanoverian Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany, in the 4-year old mares and geldings class. At the 2015 Bundeschampionate the combination finished fourth.
Blickfang HC was owned by the Belgian Anemone Samyn of HC stables.
Boos is based in Munich at Gut Waiglschweig and trains with her husband Ulrich and Hubertus Schmidt. She has trained several horses up to Grand Prix level, including Mieko Yagi's Dow Jones, Hedda Droege's Raffaelo Santi and Breanna Burgess' Fur Immer. She is currently competing Remondini (by Ragazzo x Fabelhaft) and Lobenswert (by Lissabon x Athlet Z).
