Denmark will be fielding a team of mixed big and small tour combinations for the first FEI Nations' Cup competition of the 2016 show year, held in Wellington, Florida on 30 March - 3 April 2016. The 2016 CDIO Wellington will also be the final competition of the Dressage in Florida circuit before all the action returns to Europe in the lead-up to the Rio Olympics.
Denmark will be represented by three small tour combinations, including Lars Petersen on Quascai Nexen (by Quaterback x Argentinus), Rikke Poulson on Pikk Elena HU (by Pik L x Don Primero) and Signe Kirk Kristiansen on Roberto (by Walt Disney x Rubinstein). The team will have one Grand Prix combination in Mikala Gundersen on HF Victor (by Gribaldi x Burggraaf). Gundersen took over the ride on the chestnut Dutch warmblood a year ago from Michael Barisone.
Teams from the U.S.A, Canada, Spain, Australia, Costa Rica and Denmark are contesting the Nations' Cup in Wellington.
