Eurodressage's German correspondent Silke Rottermann drove to the Mannheim show grounds on Friday 29 April 2016 to photograph the training at the 2016 CDI Mannheim the day before the competition started. Check out Silke's selection of photos from Mannheim. The 206 CDI Mannheim will be the platform for a string of riders making their debut.
With a starters' field of thirty-two Grand Prix combinations, Mannheim will be an exciting show that will feature numerous firsts for riders from all over the globe.
Helen Langehanenberg will make her CDI show debut on the 15-year old Hanoverian stallion Damsey (by Dressage Royal x Ritual), New Zealand's Julie Brougham will make her European debut on Vom Feinsten (by Fidermark) and Japanese Kuranojo Saito will present Bertoli W at a CDI for the first time. Swedish Minna Telde will also ride her first international Grand Prix on her rising GP horse Isac, a 11-year old Swedish warmblood by Hip Hop x Master.
