Five Dutch youth riders have made promotion on the Dutch squads following the national competition in Almelo, The Netherlands, on 23 - 24 April 2016.
Under 25 rider Anne Meulendijks and her 2014 European Young Riders Champion's horse Avanti (by United) moved from the U25 B-Team onto the A-Team. In Almelo she scored 70.16% aftr winning the national U25 class at the CDI-W 's Hertogenbosch and placing fourth at the 2016 CDO Joosland.
Anne's younger sister Lotte has achieved her third Dutch Young Riders A-team score on the 20-year old black Ohio (by Indoctro).
Two junior riders were promoted to the A-squad: Esmee Donkers on Chaina (by Sir Donnerhall) and Mercedes Verweij on Wiolita (by San Remo).
Pony rider Marten Luiten moved on the Dutch A-squad with his chestnut pony Movie Star (by Hagelkruis Valentijn) after placing third with 71.84%.
