Rumours have been spreading through the international dressage world that Arlette and Edwin Kohl's prestigious dressage stable Gestut Peterhof is up for sale as the couple apparently had separated. The Kohl family has now confirmed that none of these rumours are true.
"The last few months speculations and rumours have taken up unbearable proportions for our private life and family," said Arlette Jasper-Kohl. "There is no question of either a sale of our stallions, or putting our stud farm Peterhof on the market. The double world champion Sezuan, the premium stallion and third ranked HLP-stallion D'Avie, as well as Grand Prix stars Florett As and Silvano are in great form and standing at stud at Gestut Peterhof in Perl-Borg."
Kohl clearly denied the rumours. Business is running as asual at the yard.
Gestut Peterhof will also be hosting a Foal Show for the Oldenburg society for the first time on Saturday 2 July, where the selection committee will pick foals for the Autumn Elite Auction.
The 2016 CDI Perl-Borg will not take place this year as announced earlier, because of a conflict with dates on the FEI calendar due to the 2016 Olympic Games.
