The 2016 Summer Mixed Sales auction held at the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta on 4 June 2016 was very successful. The Weihegold grandson Viva Gold sold for a top price of 140,000 euro.
In the footsteps of the grandmother and on the same day as Weihegold OLD and Isabell Werth won the 2016 German Championship in Grand Prix Special, did her grandson Viva Gold (by Vivaldi x For Romance x Don Schufro) score the highest price. The chestnut colt bred by Christine Arns-Kroogmann from Lohne was purchased by dressage horse enthusiasts from The Netherlands for 140,000 euro.
Elfenfeier (by De Niro x FlorencioxSion), bred Ewald Grotelüschen from Wardenburg, sold to the Ukraine for 65,000 euro. Borislav (by Bordeaux x Sir Donnerhall x Don Primero) moves for 42,000 euro to Spain. In the collection of the jumping foals Townshend (by Toulon x Clinton x Argentinus) sold to Switzerland. Clients paid 19,000 euro for this colt.
The top priced horse in the sport horse collection at the Summer Mixed Sales in Vechta was Romanov's Ruby (by Romanov x Harvard x Feiner Stern). This strong moving mare bred by Theo van de Wyngaert from Belgium and presented by Fokkerij Klaverhof from Belgium was sold to the Ukraine for 55,000 euro.
Jumping crack Quick Big (by Quattro B x Drosselklang II x Sandro) will be off to Sweden. The magnificent jumper bred by Michael Geers from Bösel and presented by Sportpferde Geers from Goldenstedt was knocked down for 39,000 euro.
For Diamond (by Fidertanz x Royal Diamond x Sao Paulo) bred by ZG Claas N from Issum and presented by Michel Waehnert from Luxemburg will travel to his new home in Australia for 33,000 euro.
All in all, the 31 foals generated a turnover of 550,500 euro and their average price was 17,758 euro. 20 young Oldenburg foals will bring joy to their new owners abroad. They were sold to several countries: Ukraine (5), Italy (3), Belgium (2), the Netherlands (2), Serbia (2), Switzerland (2), Austria (1), Brazil (1), Spain (1), and Sweden (1). The average price in the sport horse collection was 18,220 Euro. The 25 sport horses brought a total of 455,500 euro. Eight Oldenburgs will start an international career, and will off to Sweden (3), Australia (1), Belgium (1), Great Britain (1), the Netherlands (1), and in the Ukraine (1).
