The 5-year old Lordswood Dancing Diamond and the 6-year old Don Toyamo became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show in Bülkau, Germany on Friday 27 May 2016. No less than nineteen 5-year olds and twelve 6-year olds came to Bülkau for this qualifier.
Anne-Kathrin Pohlmeier and the Hanoverian Dancing Diamond (by Dancier x Wolkenstein II) topped the leader board with a total score of 8.4. The black gelding, who is owned by the British breeding ladies Whitefield & Stack, earned 8.5 for walk and trot, 8 for canter and 8.5 for submission and general impression. Lena Stegemann and the Westfalian stallion Rocco Granata (by Rock Forever x Florestan) were the runners-up with an 8.2 total. The bay stallion for 8 for walk and canter, 8.5 for trot, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
In the 6-year old dressage horse test Lena Stegemann aced the class aboard the Oldenburg gelding Don Toyamo (by Don Romantic x Sandro Hit) with an 8.4 total. The dark bay gelding earned 8.5 for walk and canter, 8 for walk and 8.5 for submission and general impression. Anne Kathrin Pohlmeier and the Hanoverian gelding Bespoke (by Belissimo M x Lauries Crusador xx) slotted in second with 8.2. The gelding got 9 for walk, 8 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
