Fraulein Florentina and Rose of Bavaria Win 2016 Landshut Bundeschampionate Qualifier

The 5-year old Fraulein Florentina and the 6-year old were the winners of the small Bundeschampionate qualification classes held during the regional show in Landshut on Sunday 19 June 2016. Six 5-year olds and five 6-year olds showed up for this event to obtain a ticket to Warendorf and Landshut turned out to be all about mare power.

The 5-year old division was won by Kerstin Kronaus aboard Irina Reisinger's Hanoverian mare Fraulein Florentina (by Floriscount x Lauries Crusador xx). The pair scored 8.0 and edged out Ralf Kornprobst on Katja Schmidt's Bavarian mare Dacota (by Destano x Fidermark), who finished second with 7.8.

Rudolf Widmann reigned supreme in the 6-year old division aboard Irina Reisinger's Bavarian mare Rose of Bavaria (by Bordeaux x Florestan). The duo kept all competition far behind them and won the class with 8.2. Geertje Hesse-Wadenspanner and Cathrin Schmittnagel's Rhinelander mare Lady Lamira (by Lord Loxley x Goldschmidt) were the runners-up with 7.8.
