2016 CDI Fritzens

The 22nd Manfred Swarosvki Memorial Show in five days promises competitive fireworks at Evelyn and Klaus Haim-Swarovski's Schindlhof in Fritzens, Austria, on 1 - 3  July 2016. For the German team, headed by Isabell Werth, it is one of the last stations on the road to the Olympic Games and it is the perfect preparation for the CHIO Aachen.

The 4* show at Schindlhof will be a competitive highlight. "That the best dressage riders from all over the world like to come to the Schindlhof gives us tremendous joy and motivation to organize such a great show," said show hosts Klaus and Evelyn. The first participants and their horses from Brazil have already arrived at the show grounds in Fritzens.

The German elite will soon arrive. The most successful dressage rider in the world and brand new German Grand Prix Special Champion, Isabell Werth, and her team mate Dorothee Schneider, who trains Evelyn Haim-Swarovski and who is the brand new German Kur Champion, are heading to this event. Both are members of the German team for the Nations Cup in Aachen (13 - 17 July) and are on the German long list for the Olympic Games in Rio (6 - 21 August).

"We are proud to welcome these athletes in our dressage arena. Their presence is a joy for every dressage fan," Klaus Haim stated.

Other German top athletes competing in Fritzens this year are Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (also long listed for the German Olympic team), Benjamin Werndl, Ulla Salzgever, Victoria Michalke and Stefanie Weihermuller. A total of 45 riders from 17 nations will travel with 65 horses to the 4* show; amongst them also Olympic individual Judy Reynolds (Ireland) and Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein (Denmark).

Nine Austrial riders will be presented their top horses in this exclusive field of competitors: Nikolaus Erdmann, show host Evelyn Haim-Swarovski, Amanda Hartung, Angela Hergeth, Stefanie Palm, Christian Schumach, Katharina Stumpf, Oliver Valenta and Austrian Under 25 team rider Timna Zach.
