Olivia Vliek Takes over Ride on Rosentanz

Finnish pony rider Olivia Vleek has received the rider on the 15-year old Hanoverian gelding Rosentanz (by Rohdiamant x Sao Paulo) as her future junior rider's horse.

Rosentanz is a 2001 born Hanoverian who became a premium stallion at the 2003 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden. At the auction he sold to Danish Lone Boegh Henriksen, who kept the horse in training with Johannes Westendarp. in 2008 Danish Grand Prix rider Michael Sogaard took over the ride.

Sogaard and Rosentanz competed for one year in Denmark in 2009. In 2010 his student Nanna Skodborg Merrald took over and rode him at national Under 25 level. The stallion was gelded in 2011

In September 2012 Lone Boegh Henriksen's daughter Rose Marie Bang Henriksen began competing Rosentanz at M-level in Denmark. They showed once at a CDI in 2014 in Saumur.

Rosentanz has now received a new rider, 16-year old Finnish Olivia Vleek, who has been competing at internatoonal pony level since 2014 aboard Diendonne, a 13-year old German Riding Pony by Dressmann I x Playboy.

"Olivia Vliek has stayed with u sthe past month and ridden Rosentanz under Rose's supervision. It has worked out really well and it is our expectation that Olivia will have much pleasure and success with our beloved Rosentanz," said Boegh Henriksen.
