The 2013 and 2015 European Pony Champion and world record holder SL Lucci will be continuing his competitive career under a new British rider, Anya Kolleth. The 14-year old German Riding Pony moved to Kolleth's yard in May.
Anya Kolleth is a British eventing rider, who is currently competing Drop the Subject at the 2016 European Pony Eventing Championships in Vilhelmsborg, Denmark. With SL Lucci (by Lukas x Bazar) she hopes to develop her dressage career.
"She's a lovely rider and is actually competing at the year's Pony Europeans for Eventing," SL Lucci's former rider Phoebe Peters told Eurodressage. "She's been on the Great Britain Dressage Pony progress squad with her other pony, so the move onto Lucci has gone really well."
SL Lucci began his international show career as an FEI pony under Danish Caroline Aarosin. The Danish duo won team gold and kur bronze at the 2011 Nordic Baltic Championships and team bronze at the 2011 European Pony Championships. The pair was also 4th at the 2011 Ecco Cup Finals in Middelfart and 6th at the 2011 Danish Pony Championships.
In February 2012 SL Lucci sold to the Peters' family in Great Britain and an amazing partnership began. The same year Phoebe Peters and SL Lucci qualified for the British and competed at the 2012 European Pony Championships in Fontainebleau, France. At the 2013 Europeans in Arezzo they won individual and Kur gold. At the 2014 Europeans in Millstreet they finished with team and kur silver, but at the 2015 Europeans in Malmo they claimed triple gold in the team, individual and kur test. Phoebe Peters also holds all three World Record scores in the pony division.
Kolleth and SL Lucci made their national show debut at FEI pony level on 7 August and scored 73.33%.
