Soros Diva and JJ Valor Win 2016 Norwegian Foal Festival

The filly Soros Diva and the colt JJ Valor became the grand champions of the 2016 Norwegian Foal Festival held at Jørgentvedt Gård on 20 - 21 August 2016. This was the ninth edition of the Norwegian Foal Festival  open to all Norwegian born foals from different breed societies.

The judges officiating at the festival this year where Danish Warmblood representatives Ole From Christensen and Poul Graugaard.

In the dressage division the filly Soros Diva topped the board and received the champion's sash. The filly by Hesselhøj Donkey Boy x Don Romantic is bred by Soros Sporthorses and owned by Kristin Andresen. She stood out with her noble expression, large frame and harmonious body. The reserve champion was Triumph Okinawa (by Don Olymbrio x Don Schufro), bred by Norwegian Grand Prix rider Jonas Elvebakk and Rune Johannessen.

The dressage colt division has seven participants and JJ Valor (by Vivaldi x Sandro Hit) became the number one. The colt is bred by the JJ duo - Ole Jørgen Jørgen Tved and Ole-Marius Johnson - who are also the organizers of this foal festival and owned by American Leslie Waterman. He stood out with his large and well-developed frame. He showed much charisma and willingness to go. The reserve champion was JJ Bugatti (by Bordeaux x Jazz), who excelled with his powerful trot and canter.
