Dorothee Schneider and Chocolat were the 11th pair to qualify for the 2016 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals following the 2016 CDI Donaueschingen last weekend. With one more selection trial to go, the show circuit for Developing Prix St Georges horses is approaching the end.
The Nurnberger Burgpokal show circuit for 7 to 9 year old Prix St Georges is contested by a special German national test, the Prix St Georges Special. The circuit is open to riders from all nationas, but it takes place in Germany. There is no official German Developing PSG Horse Championship as the Burgpokal takes that place.
Eleven horse and rider combinations have so far qualified for the Finals at eleven different selection trials. The final selection trial will be held in Nurnberg on 27 October - 1 November 2016. The finals take place traditionally in Frankfurt, this year on 15 - 18 December 2016.
