The Australian equestrian federation has announced that Boneo Park has been named as the host venue of the 2017/18 Pacific League World Cup Dressage Final. The equestrian venue on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula will run the Final in conjunction with its annual Boneo Classic.
The event, which will be held in January 2018, has been awarded the rights to the Pacific League World Cup Dressage Final for one year.
When determining the host venue, applicants were assessed on the footing, stabling and facilities which they offered, as well as the standard of competition provided to spectators as well as competitors.
“It is a privilege to be able to host the 2017/18 Pacific League World Cup Dressage Final,” said event director Fiona Selby. “Boneo Park set about creating an event which we hoped would contribute to improving the overall standard of dressage competitions in Australia and we are pleased by hosting this event will give us the chance to do just this.”
“We look forward to showcasing Australia’s top dressage combinations for the 2017/18 Pacific League World Cup Dressage Final and working with Equestrian Australia to raise the profile of this prestigious event,” Selby said.
