The dressage selection committee of the German Olympic Equestrian Committee (DOKR) has announced the German squads for 2017. The committee decided on the squads after a general meeting in Warendorf.
Under 25 riders Florine Kienbaum and Piaff Forderpreis winner Franziska Stieglmaier are the two new additions to the "Perspective Group" of developing Grand Prix riders with potential to move on to the B or A team.
For the A-team Anabel Balkenhol and Fabienne Lutkemeier both saw their second horses, Heuberger TSF and Fabregaz, added to the squad, while Isabell Werth got Don Johnson submitted back to the A-team after a break due to injury. Jan Dirk Giesselmann is a new comer to the B-team.
