Swedish Under 25 rider Lina Dolk has sold her junior riders' horse Jouleen af Hogberget to Swedish Filippa Andersson, who also trains with Swedish Grand Prix rider Kristian von Krusenstierna.
Jouleen af Hogberget is a 13-year old Swedish warmblood mare by Biggles x Marino x Bratin, bred by Maria Thoslund. The chestnut mare did her mare performance test as a 5-year old and scored 7s and 8s for conformation and gaits. She was initially competed by Carina Toll-Hedin and sold to Dolk in 2013.
The chestnut made its international show debut under Lina Dolk at junior riders' level at the 2014 CDI-J Hagen. The pair also competed at the 2014 CDI Malmo and the 2015 CDI Nieuw en St. Joosland and the 2015 Nordic Baltic Championships in Aalborg, Denmark, where they won team silver and Kur gold. They placed 10th at the 2015 Swedish Junior Championships.
In October 2016 the pair contested their only international. They competed in one young riders class in Oslo, but had to retire from the test. They placed 8th at the 2016 Swedish Young Riders Championships. Dolk and Jouleen's last show together was a national competiton at Helsingborg on 20 November 2016, where they placed 6th in the Prix St Georges with 66.27%.
Dolk announced the sale of Jouleen on her website. "Now that Jullan is sold I will focus everything on the horses I have now and I have to bet on the right house," she xplained. "Jullan has been absolutely fantastic as a junior and young riders horse and I still have 2017 and 2018 as a young rider, but sometimes the brain must come before the heart. This sport is too expensive for me to think with my heart."
Ridsport disclosed that Jouleen af Hogberget has been sold to Filippa Andersson.
