German correspondent Barbara Schnell attended the 2017 CDN Munster Indoor competition to cover the most important Grand Prix and youth rider classes of the weekend. New combinations graced the scene and Munster became an exciting barometer for what the 2017 show season in Germany has in store.
The Grand Prix Special tour was won by Dorothee Schneider on Matthias Herbert's 11-year old Sammy Davis Jr (by San Remo x Wenckstern). They received whopping scores of 75.600% in the Grand Prix and 77.627 % in the Special from the panel of judges. Brigitte Wittig and the 11-year old home bred Bodega W (by Breitling x Fabriano) won the Short Grand Prix with 71.116%
