Sarotti Mocca Sahne Back in Training with Helen Langehanenberg

The ride on the 8-year old Celle state stud managed licensed stallion Sarotti Mocca Sahne has been returned to German B-squad rider Helen Langehanenberg. After a brief stint together in 2014 the duo is back together and made its first public appearance at the official annual winter stallion show in Verden in January.

Sarotti Mocca Sahne is bred by Jörg Bätje and is by Soliman de Hus out of Lifetime (by Lauries Crusador xx x Rotspon). The sport rights to the stallion are owned by H.J. Armburst of Gestut Eichengrund, while the breeding rights belong to Celle. The Mocca part of the stallion's name is often spelled Mokka, but offially his name is registered with a double c.

Sarotti Mocca Sahne was licensed at the 2012 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing and completed his 30-day performance test in Schlieckau wih 8.6 for dressage and 6.20 for show jumping. He was first competed as a 3-year old by Ole Köhler and Anna-Maria Köpke, who placed 4th at the 2012 Hanoverian Young horse Championships, before Mike Habermann took over.

Already back in 2014 Helen Langehanenberg took over the training of the stallion and she competed him at four shows in the winter of 2014-2015, but because of Helen's pregnancy that stint was interrupted. Franziska Beckmann took over and showed the stallion as of May 2015 and then Theresa Eickhorst was in charge in 2016. Langehanenberg is now back on board and will continue the FEI-level career of Sarotti Mocca Sahne.

"The plan is that Sarotti stays there for a longer time," a Celle representative told Eurodressage. "Last time he left the stable of Helen only while she was pregnant. Now we hope he stands there for such a long time and many successes."

Because of the change in training from Witte to Langehanenberg, the bay stallion has also relocated to Westfalia and will be standing at Rüscher-Konermann instead of Celle as of March 2017.
