Danish young riders' team horse Daydream has been sold to Danish Line Nørregaard Langhoff who will make the transition from ponies to juniors with the grey gelding.
Daydream is a 16-year old Danish warmblood gelding by Royal Diamond x Midt West Ibi Light. He is bred by Lone Boegh Henriksen.
Daydream was the key horse for Caroline Aarosin to make the transition from her pony SL Lucci to horses at junior level. In 2013 the duo made its CDI debut. The pair really thrived at young riders level and they were members of the Danish team at the 2015 and 2016 European Young Riders Championships in Vidauban, France, and Oliva Nova, Spain. They also won bronze at the 2016 Danish YR Championships.
Daydream will now become a schoolmaster for Danish pony rider Line Nørregaard Langhoff who will make the transition to junior level this year. With her pony Kallestrups Cascais O'shar, Line competed in her first CDI at the CDI-P Hagen in June 2016.
Aarosin, who is reading Law at the University of Copenhagen, will continue her riding in combination with her studies. She owns the 5-year old Atterupgaards Bravissimo (by Belissimo M) who is an embryotransfer foal out of the British Olympic team medal winner Atterupgaards Orthilia (by Gribaldi x Donnerschlag).
