2016-2017 KNHS Junior-Young Riders Cup

Junior rider Daphne van Peperstraten and young rider Jasmien de Koeyer became the winners of the third leg of the 2016-2017 KNHS Junior-Young Rider Cup competition circuit, held in Berkel-Enschot, The Netherlands, on 25 March 2017.

So far Van Peperstraten and her bay Cupido (by Johnson) have won all three qualifiers. In Berkel-Enschot a collection of 26 riders contested the junior team test. Daphne and Cupido posted a winning score of 74.60% and were a league of their own. Thalia Rockx saddled a brand new horse, the home bred Una de la Fazenda (by Don Primero) and finished second with 69,95%. Sam Stiemer and her experienced Waldemar (by Negro) landed third place with 69.41%.

In the Young Riders division a smaller group of seventeen riders gathered for the qualifier. Team rider Jasmien de Koeyer topped the board with Esperanza (by Desperados). The pair posted a score of 70.61% for the trophy. Routinier Lisanne Zoutendijk finished second aboard her team ride Ringo Star (by Riccione) with 69.39%, while Esmee Donkers and Zaffier (by Painted Black) slotted in third with 68.44%.
