Preparations for the 2017 Spring Breeders' Meeting at the Dressage Performance Centre in Lodbergen are in full swing. This seventh edition of the spring gathering takes place on 9 April 2017 at 11h00 and Urs Schweizer, managing director at DLZ, promises it will be worthwile.
"We will not only show our valuable, proven stallions under saddle and in hand, but of course also our new additions to the roster: Best for Me OLD, Finest Seletion and Sensation," said Schweizer. The first offspring of these young colts will be shown at the meeting. "It will be especially interesting to show the first crop of our Frascino. His foals are stamped by their sire's noble self carriage, correct conformation and three equally good basic gaits. The breeders will be convinced of that."
The preparations for the 2017 Spring Breeders' Meeting are underway and there is still a lot of work to be done. The indoor arena is being revamped to welcome guests and a large audience, which will attend the two-hour show in the best conditions. The music installation and announcer's station are being set up and the course of action will be prepared so that everything runs smoothly on the day itself. The stallions are the leading actors of the day and they have to get used to the new setting the days before the meeting.
"As they are flight animals horses can react to changing circumstances in their surrounding. This is why we prepare well in advance because the meeting is organized alongside our daily riding and breeding business," said Schweizer. "I can totally rely on the commitment of my staff. We are so well tuned into one another that we can accomplish anything."
