The British and Swedish equestrian federation are amongst the last to announce the team they have selected to represent their country at the 2017 FEI Nations Cup leg in Compiegne, France, on 18 - 21 May 2017. The 2017 CDIO Compiègne is the second out of eight Nations Cup legs held this show season.
Great Britain is sending one Olympian, one former team member and two aspiring team candidates as a team to France:
- Spencer Wilton - Super Nova
- Hayley Watson Greaves - Rubins Nite
- Gareth Hughes - Don Carissimo
- Dan Watson - Amadeus
Gareth Hughes will also be competing Briolinca in the 3* big tour, while Watson will ride Butterfly in the small tour. Henriette Andersen and Warlocks Charm will compete in the 3* big tour.
The Swedish equestrian federation is fielding quite a top team with no less than three of its 2016 Olympic team riders. For Juliette Ramel and Buriel K.H. Compiegne will be her long-awaited come back as the pair has not competed in nine months since Rio.
- Mads Hendeliowitz - Jimmie Choo Seq
- Juliette Ramel - Buriek K.H.
- Malin Rinné - Scharmeur
