Olympic team silver medalist and British champion Spencer Wilton will present his first Australian masterclass at the 2017 Australian Dressage Championships at Boneo Park.
It will be the first-time Boneo Park in Victoria have had the honour of hosting this premier event which will be held from the 18-22 October 2017.
Fiona Selby, managing director of Boneo Park, said, “we’re passionate about delivering world-class competition environments We aim to deliver a dressage showcase never before seen in Australia."
Spencer Wilton's masterclass will focus on "Young Horse to Podium" and it will showcase the training methods of the Olympic Silver Medalist and winner of the CDI5* Grand Prix Special in Doha, with a program schedule designed to highlight the benefits of the training scale and the common training issues faced by all riders.
“When I heard how much Carl and Charlotte had enjoyed it down under, I was thrilled to be invited. What an honour! I’ve always found Australians fun to teach and eager to learn, so I can’t wait to share some of my training techniques and insights,” said Spencer Wilton.
The outdoor arena at Boneo Park will be converted into a 1,500-capacity undercover stadium. Visitors will be seated ringside and enjoy an intimate European style, spectator experience as the competition and entertainment unfolds.
