Tessa Frank is leaving her position as head rider at Helmut von Fircks' Gestut Nymphenburg in Bad Zwischenhahn, Germany. Leif Hamberger will be replacing her as main trainer and competition rider.
The 30-year old Frank was not only the head competition rider since 2010, but she also managed the farm on a day to day basis. Frank has now decided to go independent but does not yet know where she will be based. Frank's career highlights on Nymphenburg stallions includes winning the bronze medal on Simply at the 2011 Bundeschampionate and a ninth place with First Ampere at the 2016 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo.
"I will leave Nymphenburg with a smile and a tear in my eye," said Tessa. "It was an incredibly intensive and successful period in which I gained much experience that shaped my professional career. I will not forget that."
Leif Hamberger, who recently resigned as head rider at Gestut Tannenhof due to Anja Plonzke's return home, will take over Frank's position at Gestut Nymphenburg.
