Swedish Patrik Kittel became the winner of the World Cup Qualifier held at the 2017 CDI-W Brno in the Czech Republic on 16 - 18 June 2017. Aboard his rising Grand Prix mare Well Done de la Roche, the number 15 ranked rider in the world coasted to victory in a field of riders all from developing dressage nations.
Kittel and the 9-year old Swiss warmblood mare Well Done de la Roche (by Furstentraum x Walt Disney) won the Grand Prix with 73.440 almost a full 7% ahead of Hungarian Nikolett Szalai on her 12-year old Hanoverian bred Willy the Hit (by Wolkenstein II x Brentano II), who ranked second with 66.580%. In the World Cup qualifying Grand Prix Kur to Music, Kittel and the Swiss owned mare topped the board with 78.500%, again ahead of Szalai who scored 70.400% for her Kur.
At small tour level Hungarian Robert Acs scored two trophies. In the Prix St Georges he aced the class aboard young rider Berill Szoke Toth's 8-year old Oldenburg Qatar (by Quaterback x Stedinger) with a score of 70.614%. In the Intermediaire I he won the test aboard his own 9-year old Swedish warmblood gelding Bilan (by Bocelli x Diber) with 71.622%. The Intermediaire I kur to Music was won by Hungarian Viktoria Nebel on Quite Right, a 10-year old Oldenburg gelding by Quaterback x Paradiesvogel. They scored 71.875%.
