The 5-year old Loredana and the 6-year old Delmonte were the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show in Dinslaken-Hiesfeld on 23 - 25 June 2017. Sixteen horses in total contested the L and M-level dressage horse test to earn a ticket to Warendorf.
In the 5-year old division Christina Voss and Gestut Babiacki's Rhinelander mare Loredana (by Lord Carnaby x Gamblers Star) was the high scorer of the class with 7.8. The bay mare got 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. Stefanie Witmann and Katrin Seidenstücker's Rhinelander gelding Dolcetto (by Diamo Gold x Stedinger) were the runners-up with 7.7. The gelding got 7 for walk, 8 for trot and cantr, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. The pair tied in second place with Beatrice Buchwalk on Backround HBS (by Boston x Florestan). The gelding got 7 for walk, 8 for trot and caner, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression.
Heiner Schiergen and his new ride, the Oldenburg bred Delmonte (by Destano x Argentinus) won the 6-year old category with a total score of 8.0. The gelding got 7 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Marco Fernandez-Sanchez and the Rhinelander gelding Poleggio Boy VDH (by Poleggio x Sandro Hit) was second with 7.8. The chestnut gelding for 8 for walk and canter, 7.5 for trot and submission and 8 for general impression.
