Canadian Dressage News
The Canadian Equestrian Federation has announced the teams that will represent Canada at the 2017 North American Junior and Young Riders Championships to be held in Saugerties, NY, U.S.A. on 18 - 23 July 2017.
Two complete teams and four individuals, for a total of 12 competitors, have been named to represent Canada.
The Chef d’Équipe for the Canadian athletes will be Ellen Rumball-Dvorak of Hillsburgh, ON.
The following athletes will compete at the Junior level:
Team Ontario
- Devlin Abergel-Preston - Perpetual Motion, owned by Elisabeth Preston
- Catherine Andrews -Jazmine JSH, owned by Keith Andrews
- Ava MacCoubrey - Ritter Benno, owned by Nicholas Hansen (reserve horse Pablo)
- Allison Youngdale - RF Cosima, owned by Allison Youngdale (reserbe horse Ramiro)
Individual Competitors
- Maryse Bousquet - Marzipan, owned by Chantal Hurtubise
- Molly Gunyon - Weltwunder, owned by Molly Gunyon
The following athletes will compete at the Young Rider level:
Team Ontario/Quebec
- Camille Carier-Bergeron- -Expression, owned by Camille Carier-Bergeron
- Alexandra Meghji - Rigo, owned by Diana Belevsky
- Sophie Dean-Potter - Wendy Dice, owned by Helena Dean
- Yanina Woywitka - R’Myattack, owned by Susanne Dutt-Roth (reserve horse Bakari)
Individual Competitors
- Rakeya Moussa - Davidoff van het Trichelhof, owned by Susan & Mohammed Moussa
