Belgian Fanny Verliefden and her new Grand Prix horse Indoctro van de Steenblok have withdrawn from competing at the 2017 European Dressage Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 22 - 26 August 2017.
Verliefden's 9-year old Belgian warmblood stallion Indoctro van de Steenblok (by Rubin Royal x Gribaldi) is not fit to compete and did not travel to Sweden this weekend. The vet inspection is on Sunday.
The combination made its CDI debut at Grand Prix level in April in Saumur. They also competed at Compiegne and in Rotterdam.
As Belgium was only sending three combinations, it will no longer be part of the team competition with Verliefden dropping out.
