The bay colt Montecarlo Texel became the price highlight of the 2017 KWPN SELL Foal Auction on Tuesday 5 September 2017. Laura Graves' sponsor Dr. Robert Lindholm acquired the colt for 27,000 euro.

(editors note: on 30 May 2018, Laura Graves said there never has been any connection between her and Lindholm whatsoever. The foal was also never paid for).
May Fay Texel (by Ferdinand) was acquired by the SELL Foal Auction organizer Anton van Limpt, who is the previous owner of Bretton Woods.
Customers from Dubai purchased Milano van de Baanse (by Toto Jr x Riant) for 10,000 euro and Queen PB (by Quickly de Kreisker x Quaprice) for 8,000 euro.
Young rider Teddy van de Rijt bought three foals: the dressage bred Mambo Dorette (by Franklin) and Midnight Rock (by Indian Rock) and the show jumping bred Miss Ottawa TN (by Malibu TN x Come On) for 10,000 euro.
The dressage foal Mauds Diamond (by Daily Diamond x Uphill) found a new owner for 8,500 euro.
The best selling show jumping foal was Comme Ci Comme Ca (by Comme il Faut x Cassini II), which sold for 16,000 euro to Equestrian Centre Lichtevoorde.
The average sales price for a foal at this auction was 6,330 euro.
