The filly La Finessa and the colt Dancing Devil RK became the winners of the 2017 Austrian Warmblood Foal Championships held in Stadl Paura, Austria, on 29 September - 1 October 2017.
In the dressage filly division the highest honour went to Johannes Schwaiger's filly La Finessa (by Finest x Longchamp) after she scored the winning mark of 9.0 in the finals. The reserve champion is Ludwig Scheuringer's Barcelona (by Dancier x Bretton Woods) with 8.67 points. Martin and Marion Haimel's Hermine (by Furst Romancier x Herzruf) finished third with 8.5 points.
In the dressage colt division Roman Kienast received the trophy for breeding the best male dressage foal of the year: Dancing Devil RK (by Delorean x Stedinger). The colt scored 8.67 points in total. Leo Dablander's Bariosso (by Bailando x Weltenadel) with 8.50 points. Cornelia Obernauer's colt Mauring's Fame (by Furstenball x Wolkentanz I) finished with the bronze medal after scoring 8.33 points.
