Ground Jury for 2018 World Equestrian Games Appointed

On 12 October 2017 the FEI appointed the ground jury that will officiate at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon, N.C., U.S.A. on 11 - 23 September 2018.

Seven dressage judges, one reserve, a technical delegate and chief steward have been appointed. The three members of the Judging Supervisory Panel are still to be confirmed. 

Swedish born American 5* judge Anne Gribbons will be the president of the ground jury.

The ground jury for the 2018 World Equestrian Games includes:

  • Anne Gribbons (USA)
  • Mariette Sanders-Van Gansewinkel (NED)
  • Andrew Gardner (GBR)
  • Katrina Wuest (GER)
  • Annette Fransen Iacobaeus (SWE)
  • Hans-Christian Matthiesen (DEN)
  • Susan Hoevenaars (AUS)
  • Reserve Member: Thomas Lang (AUT)

The Technical Delegate is Cara Whitham (CAN), the Chief Steward is Elisabeth Williams (USA).

Elizabeth Mcmullen (CAN) will be the dressage representative on the Appeals Committee.
