The Danish equestrian federation has appointed Dennis Fisker as the new team trainer for the Danish junior and young riders team members. He is succeeding Ulrik Sorensen.
Fisker is the head rider at Agnete Kirk Thinggaard's yard Julianelyst since 2015.
Before that he worked as an assistant trainer at the Frederikshavn and Hjallerup riding club. He has also served as a judge in Danish young horse championships. He has competed up to international Grand Prix level. Fisker recently coached Qabil Ambak to victory at the 2017 South East Asian Games.
"I am very happy to get this job as team trainer and I'm looking forward to getting started," said Fisker. "I like working with young people, their families and trainers and contribute so that we can continue to be amongst the best nations at major championships. I plan to attend the Ecco cup Finals in December, where I can meet many of the Danish junior and young riders and see them ride."
