The Swedish owned 3-year old Dutch warmblood stallion Jovian has been sold to Helgstrand Dressage. The dark bay was ridden by Dutch-Italian Chiara Prijs-Vitale.
Owned by the 36-year old Sophia Skobe Rosen of Stall Sathalla, Jovian is by Apache out of Zinith (by Tango x Fruhling). He is bred by the Ten Bosch family and was presented at the stallion licensing by Ad Valk and Jeroen Witte. Rosen acquired the non-licensed stallion at the beginning of the year.
Rosen and Dutch based former Italian young rider Chiara Prijs Vitale have been collaborating since 2016. Chiara rode Jovian in the picture at a local talent scouting competition in Holland in October 2017.
At the 2017 VWF Dressage Cup for 3-year olds in Delft, The Netherlands, the pair scored a winning 165 points. The stallion was test ridden by Stephanie Kooijman in the finals and built up a great point advantage for the victory. "This horse gave me a very good feeling and had so much power for just a 3-year old," Kooijman commented at the time.
Jovian has now been sold to Andreas Helgstrand. "It was a short but amazing adventure with Jovian," said Prijs. "I enjoyed every moment. A feeling to never forget!"
