On the third pre-selection day for the 2018 KWPN Stallion Licensing, the committee picked 17 stallions that are allowed to move on to the second phase in February. El Capone had no less than six of his sons selected.
"It is worth mentioning how well and correct the horses were in their conformation today on hard surface," said Bert Rutten, who chairs the KWPN Stallion Licensing Committee. "A few had remarks, but the majority was very correct. The day started well and we kept that feeling for most of the time in the afternoon. We picked 17 well moving stallions."
El Capone (by UB40) had no less than six sons through to the next round. They stood out by their athleticism, self carriage and uphill movement. The small tour stallion Expression has three sons selected. His offspring was lightfooted, according to the licensing committee.
