The 10-year old Dutch warmblood Don Tango B, who was the 2011 KWPN Spring Stallion Performance test winner, has been gelded and is now a junior rider's horse for Dutch Maud de Bruijn.

Don Tango B is bred by Jan van Boven and is by Contango out of Oronia (by Jazz). He is a full brother to the deceased Grand Prix horses Vontango and Tango.

The bay was licensed at the 2011 KWPN Licensing and immediately did the spring stallion performance test, where he became the high scorer with 83.5 points. He got 8s for walk and canter and 8,5 for trot. He also got a 9 for rideability, balance and  temperament.

He was first trained and competed by Emmelie Scholtens, but the pair only finished 16th in the 2012 Pavo Cup Semi Finals.

Because the stallion proved to be a handful, the owner put him in training with Diederik van Silfhout in 2013. The duo finished 7th in the 2013 Pavo Cup Finals and represented the KWPN society at the 2013 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany, where they were fourth in the consolation finals.

Don Tango then entirely disappeared from the public eye, to resurface in the summer of 2017 under Gert Van den Hof.

The horse has now been gelded and became a junior rider's mount for Maud de Bruijn. The new combination finished sixth at Z2-level at the 2018 Dutch Indoor Dressage Championships in Ermelo, on 16 March. The pair hopes to make its international debut at the 2018 CDI Nieuw en St. Joosland at the beginning of April, followed by the 2018 CDI Aachen mid April.
